I recently took a tour of a local microbrewery in Houston, TX. I have been into microbrews for about 8 years now. I'm a hop head, I love that hoppy flavor which is often too bitter for the average ignorant beer drinker who doesn't know anything other than Bud Light exist. Anyways, I would like to start my own homebrew as a hobby and I wondered if there were any other homebrewers out there. Even if you don't brew, we could still discuss your favorite microbrews. The local one in Houston is "Saint Arnold" and they have a 5 or 6 year round brews and about the same amount of seasonals. Their Elissa IPA is very hoppy and I love it. I also enjoy their Christmas Ale very much. Like I said really like IPAs and another good one is brewed somewhere in Cali. It's called Arrogant Bastard and I've only ever saw it in Pints. It's ALC 8.0 BY VOL. Recently I tried on from Victory brewery called "Hops Devil". If you're a hop head like me you'll enjoy this beer. If you like a lighter cheaper ale, look for "Warbird", it's a smooth red ale from Fort Wayne, Indiana and it's only 3.99 a six pack around here. If you're in the Southeast, look for anything made by Sweetwater Brewery out of Atlanta, Georgia. Their "420 Pale Ale" is amzing. Well I'm late for my AA meeting so I'm off for now LOL.

Ok for you whiskey drinkers out there, try Crown Royal and Cream Soda. It's a secret not well known, trust me on this one.

If my artist at arms friend ever gets around to posting on here, his dad does quite a bit of home brewing, he could probably hook you up. As well, my dad has done some home brewing in the past. He even came up with some comic characters based on it. Brew Guy and Wart. hehe. Good stuff.
